Health Benefits
Doctors agree that there is something in red wine that appears to help your heart. Only recently have they discovered that this “something” is a compound molecule called resveratrol. Resveratrol not only helps your heart, it defers the effects of aging, thereby prolonging life.
Scientists found polyphenols on red wine that acts as antioxidant, attacking the “free radical” cells that harm your body. They also help protect the lining of blood vessels in your heart, reduce cholesterol and prevent blood clots. It improves prostate health and regulates urine flow.
Good news for wine buffs, but the reality is that red wine does not contain enough resveratrol to immediately benefit your body. You would have to drink thousands of bottles of red wine to achieve the health benefits that one tablet of concentrated resveratrol would achieve. Alcohol is only beneficial in moderation, and finding concentrated resveratrol is the best idea.
Concentrated resveratrol is available in tablet form in a product called ResV. It has all the health benefits and additional benefits, like contributing to weight loss and increasing energy. The concentrated ResV can shrink tumours and kill malignant cancer cells, slowing the cancer’s progression.
ResV has also been linked to breast health in women. Research shows that resveratrol inhibits the growth of oesophageal; intestinal and mammary (breast) cancer.
Resveratrol has also been linked to protecting against lung cancer. A researcher reported that with each glass of red wine, their chances of developing lung cancer were decreased by 2%.
Studies show that resveratrol users are 50% less likely to acquire heart disease. Spanish researchers found that ResV may protect the brain and kidneys against oxidative stress and high blood cholesterol.
In weight loss, resveratrol mimics the effects of caloric restriction, which in turn prolongs your life. In yeast, it proved to extend the lifespan by 70%. The effect of a 30% caloric restriction in mammals has proven to increase their life spans by 50%.
